Gilnokie is a South African-based and family-owned business with over 20 years of specialised experience in textiles and sock manufacturing.

In February 2023, Kalven Armstrong started Gilnokie with a desire to make a high-quality performance sock with a knitted design, that was able to retain its quality and moisture-wicking properties over a long season of heavy or light use but remain affordable to the average athlete and South African market.

Through trials with local run-crews and sporting enthusiasts, what has emerged is a performance sock that is unparalleled in the market, delivering results that athletes at all levels in many sports are celebrating.
